From the moment the imposing figure of Steve 'Dr Teeth' Steinhaus bounded on
stage he had the audience eating out of his hand.
Chicago born Steve had flown in from France earlier in the day and came straight to
the gig, none of this took away from his enthusiasm for the job, and his undoubted
talent and that of his Swing, Jazz and Rhythm and Blues, anecdotal stories and a
blues version of his nightmare journey to the gig, which was composed on the spot.
An evening of great music in the company of the Ratpack, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald and company followed and Steve soon had the place bouncing for an hour and a half.

by popular demand to stage the incredible production of the Phileas P.Souper Tour
in which they had the audience mesmerised from the moment Simon Tarrant sat on
the stage in silence, waiting for the funeral party to eventually turn up, enter the
building and begin to create mayhem.
The show told the story of the life, the adventures, the friends and the unfortunate death of Phileas P.Souper. It was hilarious and something that you will probably never quite see the likes of again, there was the slapstick of Chaplin, the daftness of Amelie, the performance was at times surreal, eccentric and expertly delivered by very talented actors and musicians who brought them a wonderful array of instruments including accordion, brass, saw, ukulele, banjo, and mbira.
The evening was full of excellent music and laughs galore, a great night's entertainment fully appreciated by a very enthusiastic audience. If you any have comments on the show please let us know by contacting this site or by emailing whit4ward@aol.com
